The Pyu Ancient Cities in Myanmar and the Shahr-i-Sokhta (Burnt City) in Iran have been named World Heritage sites; the Myanmar cities were active from 200 B.C. to 900 A.D.; the Iranian city was active primarily from 3200 B.C. to about 1800 B.C.
